Info
On October 29 and 30, 2026, at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, Anne Sila and Yvan Cassar reunite in a piano-and-voice duo for a creation that plays with intimacy and grand scale. Sila, a singer and cellist trained in both classical and jazz traditions, brings this direct way of telling a song, with a voice that is precise and able to veer into improvisation when needed. At times, she steps away from the microphone to accompany herself on the cello, and the texture shifts, more acoustic, more intimate. Across from her, Cassar at the piano: an arranger and musical director accustomed to both large-scale productions and stripped-down formats, known for his sense of harmony and storytelling. Together, they blend original pieces with tributes to classics of French chanson, reimagined as piano-and-voice works, with jazz detours and colours borrowed from the classical repertoire. A two-person dialogue, without unnecessary effects, where the arrangement serves the text and where every pause matters as much as the notes.
