Info
Thirty Seconds to Mars bring on May 6, 2027 to the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart an evening that revolves entirely around two cornerstone albums in their history: A Beautiful Lie and This Is War. The American rock trio led by Jared Leto (vocals, guitar) and Shannon Leto (drums) has, since its formation in 1998 in Los Angeles, progressed from the club underground to a larger arena sphere—the leap lies precisely between these two albums. A Beautiful Lie stands for the moment when the sound became more melodic and direct, and the songs really came alive on stage. This Is War subsequently marks the phase of upheaval: larger in scope, more powerful, with anthemic character and that typical blend of rock, pathos and angular electronic tones. In Stuttgart, it won't be a nostalgia act, but a focused look at two eras that continue to shape the band's live sound to this day.
