Info
On April 13, 2027, Ashe will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht with a set focused on sharply written pop songs with an indie edge and a folk vibe. Under her real name Ashlyn Rae Willson, she began as a songwriter and vocalist for producers in the electronic and pop spheres, and you can still hear that in her blend of intimate details and sleek, modern production.
Live, you can expect songs built around piano and melodic refrains, with that direct, almost diary-like storytelling style that propelled her breakthrough. Since her early releases and the turning point with “Moral of the Story,” Ashe has continually stretched her sound: from pop ballads to 70s folk-pop, without losing focus on the song and its lyrics. In Utrecht, she brings all of this together in a concert that feels intimate, yet has enough dynamism to energize a room.
