Info
On May 1, 2027, CHVRCHES land in Manchester at O2 Victoria Warehouse for a show built on that Glasgow-made blend of synthpop precision and indie-pop punch. The trio—Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty—know how to turn clean melodic lines into big, tight choruses, balancing bright electronic textures with a darker edge that’s grown sharper over the years.
Expect a set that moves between early breakthroughs like “The Mother We Share” and “Lies”, the sleek drive of The Bones of What You Believe and Every Open Eye, and the more upfront pop feel of Love Is Dead. More recent material brings deeper shadows and a heavier electronic-rock tension, especially around the Screen Violence era, where their sound leans into darker tones without losing its melodic clarity. Live, it’s all about the trio’s chemistry: Mayberry’s voice at the center, Cook’s detailed arrangements, and Doherty’s melodic turns and vocal counterpoints.
