Info
Hot Chip lands in Glasgow on March 8, 2027, for a live set at SWG3, bringing their London-bred electronic pop-rock to the room with that mix of club pulse and band energy they’ve been refining since the early 2000s. Built around childhood friends Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard, the group has always played on the tension between crisp machines and warm melodies, the kind of songs that hit as hard on a dancefloor as they do in concert.
From early releases like the “Mexico” EP and the first album Coming On Strong to the breakthrough momentum of The Warning and the run of records that followed, Hot Chip’s catalogue has grown into a proper live playground. Expect tight grooves, quick turns between pop hooks and electronic jitters, and the loose, communal feel that makes their shows more than a straight replay of the studio versions. Plus special guests to set the tone.
