Info
On 3 May 2027, Joanne Shaw Taylor lands at City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds for a night that puts the spotlight on her blues-rock drive and her sharp, groove-heavy guitar work. First spotted as a teenager by Dave Stewart, she’s built a career on songs that balance raw riffs with soulful phrasing, carried by a voice that knows when to bite and when to lean into the blues.
With a catalogue that’s grown across ten albums, she moves easily between classic blues foundations and a more modern edge. Expect a set that can swing from fiery leads to tighter, hook-led moments, in the spirit of her Black & Gold era, where americana colours and a hint of 80s pop sheen slip into the mix without ever losing the grit. A proper live show for anyone who likes their blues loud, direct, and played with feel.
