Info
On May 3, 2027, Doctor Krápula will play at Club Stereo in Nuremberg and bring the energy of Bogotá's underground scene straight to the stage. The Colombian band has been mixing ska, punk rock and reggae with Latin American rhythms since the late 1990s, later also with cumbia, hip-hop influences and Caribbean colors — fast, danceable, but with attitude.
Around lead singer Mario Muñoz they rely on Spanish-language lyrics that directly address social conflicts, politics and environmental issues, without losing the drive of a party band. Those who know them from festival stages like Rock al Parque know: this is a set that moves forward, in which brass, offbeats and driving guitars constantly shift direction. In Nuremberg it will be an evening of moshing and skanking, with a sharp edge and a lot of movement in the sound.
