Info
Hot Chip bring their show 'A Long Way From Kansas' to the Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin on February 26, 2027. The London-based quartet around Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard has, since the 2000s, moved between electronic pop, indie, and dancefloor logic: clear melodies, dry grooves, playful synths, and a sense for how club energy and songwriting push each other. Live, that means precise beats, warm harmonies, and that slightly off-kilter humor that often makes their tracks truly shine.
After early releases such as the EP 'Mexico' and the debut 'Coming On Strong,' it became clear with 'The Warning' at the latest how consistently Hot Chip builds their own sound. Later albums like 'In Our Heads' have further developed this: danceable, but never slick, catchy without pandering. In Berlin one can expect an evening that swings between concert and night out — with moments to sing along and passages where everything moves toward the pulse.
