Info
On January 16, 2027, Annisokay arrives at Foufounes Électriques in Montreal with their own distinctive blend of metalcore and post-hardcore, where melodic riffs intersect heavier passages and staccato rhythms. Since their beginnings in Halle in 2007, the band has refined a formula based on the balance between clean singing and screamed vocals, with live-ready energy and choruses that stick in the mind. The shift begun in 2019, with Rudi Schwarzer handling the screamed parts, has further strengthened the contrast between tension and melody.
Drawing on a discography that runs from The Lucid Dream[er] to Aurora, Annisokay promises a dense, modern set, deeply rooted in the European metal wave of the 2010s. As the opening act, Basterds rounds out the bill for an evening oriented toward guitars and direct impact.
