Info
Twenty-five years after O, Damien Rice returns to celebrate the album that established him at the heart of the intimate folk scene of the 2000s. Written, recorded and produced in a DIY, home-recording spirit, this 2002 album remains associated with a raw, skin-deep writing and spare arrangements, where the voice leads the dance between guitar and piano. On stage, Rice plays with silence, restrained tensions and sudden climaxes, able to move from an almost bare format to denser moments without losing the fragility that is his signature. This anniversary tour is an opportunity to revisit songs that have become touchstones, such as The Blower's Daughter, Cannonball, Volcano, and to gauge how these songs still stand today. See you at the Grand Rex, in Paris, on 13 April 2027, for a concert conceived as a return to the source, closer to the emotion.
