Info
On December 23, 2026 Fresku returns to his hometown for a special encounter with the Metropole Orchestra at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. Do not expect a standard rap show, but an evening in which his Dutch-language storytelling takes center stage. Fresku’s style revolves around sharp observations, self-deprecating humor, and social reflection, with lyrics that are as easily intimate as they are outspoken. Themes such as identity, fatherhood, and the tension between the public face and private life are often at the core, causing his tracks to continue to resonate live.
The Metropole Orchestra adds its own world to that: a hybrid between big band and a symphonic orchestra, accustomed to blending jazz, pop, and cinematic timbres, and building new arrangements specifically for soloists. With their rhythm section and strings, they can shift from grand and layered to small and direct. In Eindhoven, that comes together in a set that breaks Fresku's music open, expands it, and re-colors it, without losing sight of the core.
