Sylvan – Xmas Concert 2026
For many years, Sylvan's Christmas concert has been a fixed fixture in the Hamburg concert calendar at Knust Hamburg, an evening when the band traditionally presents highlights from nearly three decades of band history.
This year, however, it will be a special concert: To mark the 20th anniversary, Sylvan will perform their concept album Posthumous Silence in full, from the first note to the last. And perhaps we will meet a few guests.
Originally released in 2006, Posthumous Silence remains to this day one of the standout concept albums of the European prog scene, a work of atmospheric density, emotional depth, and musical complexity. No Sylvan concert since then has been complete without parts of this album; now it will be performed in its entirety.
To mark the anniversary, Posthumous Silence will be released on vinyl for the first time, remastered, as a double LP and with revised artwork. An evening for longtime fans and for everyone who would like to experience this album in full live.
