Info
On December 10, 2026 at Ulster Hall in Belfast, Ash bring their “1977 30th Anniversary Tour” home, revisiting the record that locked in their fast, hook-heavy take on alternative rock. Built around Tim Wheeler’s sharp pop songwriting and the band’s tight three-piece drive, 1977 is all short songs, big choruses and that pop‑punk snap that made Ash stand out in the mid‑90s.
Expect the set to lean into the album’s momentum while keeping the spirit of a band that never really stopped moving forward. From early breakthrough moments to the more recent punch of Kablammo!, Islands and Race the Night, Ash have kept their sound direct and melodic for over three decades. This anniversary show isn’t about museum vibes: it’s a chance to hear those classic riffs and choruses hit with the same urgency, in the city that knows exactly where this story started.
