Info
Hamdi heads to Parallel in Amsterdam on 27 November for a DJ set that revolves around one thing: bass that takes over your body. The UK producer blends dubstep, UK bass, garage and grime into a smooth yet uncompromising sound, with heavy low end, bouncing rhythms and drops that land tight on the dance floor. His approach is genre-fluid, but always built for a soundsystem: short vocal hooks, syncopation, and a drive that keeps you on your feet. No surprise, then, that his tracks are played by both big names and people from the UK underground. With 'Skanka' he definitively put himself on the map as one of the producers who in recent years has pushed dubstep back toward the club.
Support comes from MALLAURY and Styn, who color the evening with sets that move between bass, club energy, and idiosyncratic choices.
