We have been silent. Something is building in the dark. Something you have never seen before.

Lyon, January 30, 2027. NOGENDER.

In 2017, a dreamer lights a light in the dark. Angel Karel founded NOGENDER to offer refuge to those who do not fit into the boxes, bodies that are watched too closely or not watched enough. And to all those who have understood that celebration can also be a political act. The DNA of NOGENDER is a pounding, industrial and brutal sound, and in the shadows lurk the darkrooms, and on stage bodies perform to shake up our view of society.

In 10 years, how many of you have discovered yourselves here? How many stories, encounters, nights carved into our souls? Even those who came “just to see” still remember. Whether you are a regular or you push open the door for the first time, you are at home. NOGENDER is open to everyone, to all sexualities, to all origins and to all genders.

In 2027, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, NOGENDER chooses OVERSIZE, a large-scale queer rave in Lyon. A night of techno open to all styles and performances.

No headliner. Here, universes are programmed, far more than names. The team seeks singular personalities, artists whose sound has something to say, because their identity, their energy or their journey resonates with the history of NOGENDER.

Line-up. Trust the night. The line-up will be unveiled on 27 October 2026.

No censor. Performance has always been a pillar of NOGENDER nights, and this time it returns without restraint. Some bodies, some gestures and some tableaux may shake you, and that is intentional, since they are there to provoke thought. They will be carried by those who built this memory, with a new generation at their side taking over. Trust the night. The names will be announced in early January 2027.

No casual. Here, nobody has to fit into a size. This night, it’s up to you to dress it. The only requirement is to come in black, at minimum. For the rest, you can dare anything, from leather to latex, from harnesses to drag, from oversize to almost nothing. The team loves when you experiment, so leave everyday wear at home.

No shame. No one will look at you sideways. Fetish and BDSM aesthetics are part of NOGENDER culture and they are embraced, from vinyl to chains, from the hood to puppy play. Everyone comes as they wish, without fear of judgment.

No photo. No video. What happens here stays here. Phones stay in pockets or at the cloakroom.

No respect, no entry. Respect is the only rule.

The red lines: no VIP, no guest list, no ego, no hierarchy, no discrimination, no violence, no homophobia, no transphobia, no sexism, no racism, no fascism.

Kindness and safety: your safety and well-being come first. Teams will monitor the night to ensure adherence to the rules and to protect everyone’s privacy, with specialists in prevention and risk reduction in festive settings.
