Info
On December 4, 2026, Slalom in Lille welcomes Bardix le Gaulois, a French project that twists techno through the prism of a Celtic imagination and a mythical Gaul. On a bed of punchy French kick drums and repetitive basslines, he injects motifs of reinvented folklore: catchy melodies, tribal touches, and above all timbres evoking flutes and bagpipes, like traditional echoes propelled into the club. Bardix claims this 'Gaulish techno' as music with impact, conceived for trance as much as for storytelling. On stage, the set extends into a performance: a bard character, costumes, visual codes, and staging contribute to the narrative, without diverting attention from the rhythm. An evening for those who enjoy techno that stays direct, but allows itself a sidestep, between party and neo-folklore.
