On November 28, 2026 in Marseille, at Le Petit Cab, the JEST Festival (Day 6) features three live sets that play on the frictions between club music and listening spaces.
Saïph, Pablo Diarra's project, unfolds a live Afro-Dub-Techno conceived as a bridge between stages and approaches: thick textures, sonic sculpture, and the pulsation of collective trance. At the crossroads of dub techno, samba, Afrobeat, Detroit electro, and musique concrète, he pushes the collisions until they become organic, sometimes leaning toward the bass, for a writing that occupies space and continually metamorphoses.
Matchume Zango & Le Motel present Chikulu, born from an immersion in Mozambique, in the Chopi country (Inhambane Province). Open mics, encounters and field recordings feed electronic material that dialogues with the timbila, between a documentary approach and beatmaking.
With Pyrexia, Ehua & Flore switch the duo into live mode: taut basslines, frontline percussion, and precise sound design, somewhere between 130 and 160 BPM, for a tight collision between two universes and a shared energy.
