Info
On April 11, 2027, Carsie Blanton lands at Button Factory in Dublin with her sharp, story-driven songwriting and that hard-to-pin-down mix of folk, rock, light jazz, cabaret, and soul. Originally from Virginia and now based in New Orleans after years in Philadelphia, she writes songs like small scenes: a lot of character work, irony, and social observation, carried by a voice that keeps the words front and center.
Over the years, her independent run has built a catalogue that moves from intimate folk setups to more rhythmic, band-shaped arrangements. Live, expect a set that can pivot between subtle swing, indie-pop energy, and modern protest-song bite, with melodies that stick and lyrics that do the talking. It’s the kind of concert where the groove matters, but the punchlines and turns of phrase hit just as hard.
