Info
Late Night Thoughts stop by Whelan’s in Dublin on March 9, 2027, bringing their close-knit brand of folk-pop and indie folk to a room that suits them down to the ground. Built around two musicians who first connected while studying in New England, the duo works in a stripped-back format where the blend of their voices does most of the heavy lifting. Expect tight harmonies, acoustic textures, and songs that lean into melody and story rather than big production.
Their writing sits at the crossroads of contemporary folk and soft-edged acoustic pop: short, direct tracks with choruses that land quickly, but always keep that intimate, proximity feel. If you’ve heard “Days Like This” and the direction hinted at by the Coming Back Home EP, you know the lane: warm arrangements, clear songwriting, and a set designed to feel like it’s being played just for the people in front of them.
