Info
On February 5, 2027, at The Cluny in Newcastle upon Tyne, Liift brings SOAK to the stage: the project of Bridie Monds-Watson, whose songs move between indie folk, dream pop and alternative pop, always built around voice, guitar and a clear sense of intimacy. Their debut album Before We Forget How to Dream (2015) made a strong first statement, picking up major Irish awards and earning a Mercury Prize nomination, with that direct, uncluttered writing style that sticks with you.
Since then, SOAK has kept expanding the palette without losing the confessional core, from the sharper textures of Grim Town to the more flexible, melody-driven If I Never Know You Like This Again. After years of touring across Europe and the US and sharing stages with artists like Julien Baker, Modest Mouse and Lucy Dacus, this show lands as a chance to hear that evolution up close, with decembers marking the next chapter.
