Info
On April 17, 2027, at Depot in Cardiff, Chicane takes over the night for a long-form set built for people who like their electronic music spacious, melodic, and a little sun-faded. Behind the alias is Nicholas Bracegirdle, a key figure in UK trance and progressive sounds since the mid-90s, with a signature blend of balearic beat, chill-out atmospheres, and club-ready drive.
Expect a journey that moves between uplifting themes and deeper, more ambient stretches, the kind of pacing he’s shaped across albums like Far from the Maddening Crowds and Behind the Sun. Tracks such as “Offshore,” “Saltwater,” and “Don’t Give Up” sit at the heart of that legacy: hooks you can actually hum, wrapped in wide pads and steady momentum. With an exclusive two-hour performance announced, this one leans into the idea of a proper evening with Chicane, not just a quick festival run-through.
