The unconventional composer and baroque lutenist Jozef Van Wissem will once again grace the stage of Klub Zaścianek in November. The occasion for the tour will be the artist's latest album, titled 'This Is My Blood'. Since the 1990s, when Van Wissem studied lute in New York under Patrick O'Brien, he has created works equally rooted in classical, Renaissance, and Baroque lute forms as in contemporary sounds that include drones, electronics, and field recordings. Coupled with his early inspirations from the no wave and industrial scenes and his commitment to minimalism, this yields a unique and distinctive musical language. Van Wissem is an avant-garde artist who travels the world with his black Baroque lute. His music is described as hypnotic, minimalist, and atmospheric, consciously blending beauty with a dark, meditative aesthetic. In his lyrics one can hear Christian, and often mythical overtones; he addresses themes of love, faith, the afterlife, often with mantra-like repetition. He collaborates with director and musician Jim Jarmusch, including composing the soundtrack for the film Only Lovers Left Alive, for which Van Wissem received the Cannes Soundtrack Award in 2013.

Roberto Delira Jaworski is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who has long been associated with the experimental folk group Żywiołak. In his solo project Rekonstrukcja/Destrukcja he becomes a lute minimalist, and Jozef Van Wissem and Totte Mattsson from Hedningarna are his two favorite lute experimentalists. The program, which he calls 'Lute Hypnotics and Secret Lyrics', refers to the history of mysticism built on the hypnotic Baroque sonorities and folkloric phenomena. The artist has performed in the USA, and has also collaborated on music for games such as The Witcher, The Thaumaturge, World of Tanks, as well as collaborations with Czesław Mozil, Michał 'Sobota' Sobolewski, Adam O.S.T.R. Ostrowski, and Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa.
