Info
Rod Stewart brings his gravelly voice and songbook to Co-op Live in Manchester on May 8, 2027. A figure who came up through the UK rhythm and blues circuit before singing with Jeff Beck Group and Faces, he’s built a solo run that moves naturally between rock, folk and soul, then into punchier pop and big ballads. Expect a set that plays with eras rather than sticking to one lane: early-’70s storytelling and loose grooves, later stadium-ready hooks, and that knack for making covers feel like his own. It’s the kind of show where the arrangements breathe, the choruses land fast, and the personality does as much work as the melodies.
Howard Jones is also on the bill. Known for his time fronting Killswitch Engage and later Light the Torch, he brings a metalcore vocal style that flips between clean lines and harsher intensity. On May 8, 2027 in Manchester, his set should lean into that contrast: heavy, rhythmic riffs paired with melodic choruses, built for a room that likes both impact and precision.
