Info
Will Young has been a fixture of British pop since winning the first Pop Idol in 2002, and his live shows still carry that mix of classic songwriting and a sharper, more modern edge. On 27 February 2027 at Sheffield City Hall, he brings a set shaped by two decades of hits and reinventions: from early anthems like Evergreen and Leave Right Now to the more electronic, contemporary turn he’s explored across albums like Echoes.
With Light It Up (Top 5 in the UK in 2024) as his latest chapter, expect a night that moves between clean pop hooks, soul inflections and more intimate moments where his voice does the heavy lifting. It’s also a reminder of what’s kept him relevant beyond the TV-story origin: an instinct for interpretation, a taste for moodier shades, and a performer’s presence sharpened by years on stage and in theatre.
