Info
Jack Kays lands at the RUST festival in Copenhagen on April 18, 2027 with his distinctive blend of indie rock, hip-hop, pop-punk and emo. His songs shift effortlessly between melodic singing and rap-inflected phrasing, while tense guitars and tight rhythms keep everything on the edge. It's music that feels like diary entries turned up to full volume: direct lyrics about mental health, isolation and addictions, wrapped in choruses that bite back.
After his breakthrough with 'Morbid Mind' and releases such as 'Mixed Emotions', the EPs 'Voice Memos' and 'My Favorite Nightmares' (developed with Travis Barker), he has continued with 'Cessation', 'Caffeine' and later 'Deadbeat! - Disc 1' and 'Deadbeat! - Disc 2'. Live, it appears with a band lineup, where the energy of emo and pop-punk meets a modern American alternative sound.
