Info
On June 20, 2027, Nickelback will stop at the Hallenstadion in Zurich with the Everything Under The Sun Tour. The band from Hanna, Alberta, has stood for straightforward, radio-friendly rock for years, between post-grunge, hard rock and pop appeal: heavy riffs, clear tempos, and Chad Kroeger's raspy, pushed voice that sits right away. Live, that means: big choruses that linger in the room, and a set that spans from the early breakthroughs to the more direct, newer songs.
As the support act, Don Broco are on the bill. The quartet from Bedford blends alternative rock with a post-hardcore edge, pop hooks, funk grooves and electronic textures. Their songs live on rhythm changes, punchy drums and melodies that don't drop even when the guitars come alive. An opening act that quickly pushes the mood forward, before Nickelback takes over.
