Info
On April 4, 2027, Nickelback bring their Everything Under The Sun Tour to Rogers Place in Edmonton, with Don Broco joining the bill. Expect a set built for big rooms: thick guitars, steady mid-tempos, and those huge, sing-along choruses that made the band a staple of post-grunge and hard rock. Led by Chad Kroeger’s instantly recognizable rasp, Nickelback’s live show typically moves between punchy, nervy tracks and slower ballads, pulling from the run that took them from early breakthrough records to later, more direct, stage-ready material.
Don Broco open the night with a very different kind of energy: an alternative rock mix where post-hardcore bite meets pop hooks, funk-leaning grooves, and electronic twists. Their songs tend to pivot fast from tight, rhythmic verses to wide choruses, with heavier moments cutting through the more playful, modern textures. It’s a sharp warm-up for an arena rock headline, and a good excuse to catch two bands that approach big riffs from opposite angles.
