Info
On February 7, 2027, in Marseille, The Ocean land with what marks a new step in their journey. After Holocene, which closed their long cycle of albums inspired by geological eras, the Berlin collective pushes the exploration of electronic textures further while keeping the tension that defines their signature: heavy riffs, contrasts, atmospheric textures, and a progressive approach. On stage, the emphasis is on Solaris (2026), an album that questions the drive to explore, the impulses of power, and the meaning of technological progress, set against a backdrop of concern about the state of our habitat.
As the opening act, A.A. Williams establishes her chiaroscuro aesthetic. Between dark folk, post-rock, and doom-leanings with sometimes neoclassical arrangements, the London-based artist plays on the slow build of tension, electric guitar, and a deep, gripping voice. A set designed to lay the groundwork: intimate when needed, heavy when it bursts forth.
