Info
At the outset of Requin Chagrin's fourth album, Décollage, there is a question that every artist dreads, but which Marion Brunetto does not back down from: how to reinvent herself without betraying herself? To make room for brighter, more new-wave-inspired musical impulses, with her new synthesizers and drum machines, while preserving her bedroom-pop DNA—reverb-drenched guitars and garage rock? With no certainty about the outcome, she decides to trust her instinct, which is urging her to leave the city. Leave. Move. Take off.
