Info
La Roux, the synthpop project of Elly Jackson, brings on the 'Old Flames Tour 2027' her blend of electronic pop, new wave, and unmistakable 80s references back to the stage. On March 6, 2027 at the Live Music Hall in Cologne, it's less about nostalgia than about the way Jackson shifts sounds: sharp synth lines, dry, danceable grooves, and that high, slightly androgynous voice that makes even simple hooks sound angular. In the set you can expect the typical La Roux tension: the cool precision of the debut 'La Roux' meeting the warmer textures and more clubby structures of 'Trouble in Paradise' and 'Supervision'. Additionally, it fits the open avenue toward indie electronic and remix culture, which La Roux has expanded over the years through collaborations and newer singles. An evening for everyone who prefers pop with bite and bass.
