On July 28, 2027 at Place Bell in Laval, Greta Van Fleet brings its “Into The Beginning” show to a room built for big, loud rock. The Michigan band has made its name on guitar-forward hard rock that pulls from blues and a touch of prog, driven by a tight rhythm section and Josh Kiszka’s unmistakable high register. Expect a set that moves between the direct punch of their early breakthrough and the more expansive, atmosphere-heavy writing they’ve developed across Anthem of the Peaceful Army, The Battle at Garden’s Gate and Starcatcher, with longer builds, riff-led highs, and a real sense of dynamics.
On the same bill, Portugal. The Man comes with their restless indie-rock blend where psychedelia, pop and soul colors keep sliding into each other. From their lo-fi beginnings to the more streamlined, hooky side they explored with Danger Mouse and beyond, they know how to turn left mid-song without losing the groove.
Friko opens the night with Chicago art rock that jumps between intimate, piano-tinted moments and noisier surges, balancing sharp songwriting with sudden spikes in intensity.
