Info
Formed in the early 2000s, Girls in Hawaii is a Belgian indie rock band. Gaining recognition with their debut album From Here to There (2003), the band builds a universe that blends melodies with melancholic atmospheres. As their albums progressed (Plan Your Escape in 2008, Everest in 2013), their sound deepened, Everest presenting a more introspective and contemplative tone. In 2017, Nocturne marked a shift toward more electronic textures while remaining faithful to the indie rock DNA of their early days. After celebrating in 2023 the twentieth anniversary of their first album on a European tour, Girls in Hawaii are preparing a new album, set for release in 2026, thus opening a new chapter in their musical journey.
