Info
On March 20, 2027, Girls in Hawaii returns to the stage at Paloma in Nîmes for a concert drawing on more than twenty years of Belgian indie rock. Led by the voices and guitars of Antoine Wielemans and Lionel Vancauwenberghe, the band lays out what defines its signature: bright guitars, keyboards tucked away in the mix, supple rhythms, and that quiet melancholy that clings to the choruses.
On stage, you can expect a set that moves between the melodic momentum of the early days, marked by From Here to There and Plan Your Escape, and tracks with more expansive, contemplative atmospheres, in the vein of Everest or the Nocturne and Hello Strange eras. It will be an opportunity to rediscover a repertoire conceived for live performance, balancing restrained tension, softly spoken emotions, and precise, expressive English-language pop rock.
