La Roux, the synth-pop project led by Elly Jackson, returns to the stage in Paris on March 9, 2027 at the Trianon. A producer, songwriter and performer, Jackson has since the mid-2000s traced a clear line between electronic pop, new wave and confident nods to the 80s: crisp synths, punchy rhythms and that high, androgynous voice, instantly recognizable.
This concert is set to serve as a focus on her studio comeback with a fourth album, Old Flames, conceived as a cinematic and imaginative record, nourished by references ranging from David Lynch to Donnie Darko, via All Saints and Mariah Carey. From her meteoric beginnings with La Roux (2009) to Trouble in Paradise (2014) and Supervision (2020), she has evolved her sound toward warmer textures and a bolder groove, while preserving the taste for pop refrains and club energy. An evening tailored for fans of high-energy electro-pop and melodies that linger.
