JeanneTo
JeanneTo is a pop-punk voice that steps into the chaos of the rave, on provocative rhythms that push the unleashed genres of the 90s to their extremes: hard-hitting bass, drum blasts, saturated synths.
Beatmaker and guitarist, Cadillac Prod shapes the entirety of the productions and accompanies JeanneTo on stage. His instruments confront the energy of the party with the darkness of post-punk and new wave. Together, they seek to create what doesn't yet exist.
When you can't find your place anywhere, you can play whatever you want, anywhere. Between a diary and protest slogans, Jeanne doesn't sing alone. There are people around, and you are part of them. By naming love and despair, she makes song a shared space for those who feel lost, somewhere in the middle of it all.
Listening to JeanneTo means letting yourself be overwhelmed by toxic and poetic soundscapes until you are completely swallowed up. We no longer know how we got there, but that's okay. All that's left is to dance.
