Info
The Michael Schenker Group lands at La Rayonne in Villeurbanne on March 16, 2027, bringing MSG's most recognizable strengths: edgy hard rock, anchored by crisp riffs and memorable guitar melodies that linger in the ear, straddling heavy metal heritage and a finely crafted sense of soloing. Led since its inception by Michael Schenker, who has passed through Scorpions and UFO, the project has weathered decades with shifting lineups but the same backbone: the guitar at the forefront, precise, expressive, and a penchant for tracks built for the live stage. This concert reads as a living summary of a discography that runs from the major milestones of the early 80s — The Michael Schenker Group, MSG, Assault Attack, up to the live One Night at Budokan — to more recent relaunches, Immortal to Universal. Expect a tight set, built with rising momentum and choruses meant to be sung along, with that very Schenker touch: virtuosity that does not dissipate but remains at the service of the song.
