Info
On February 7, 2027, Enslaved and Sólstafir AB&B – Amager Bio in Copenhagen will bring an evening spanning from raw extreme metal to open, atmospheric passages. Enslaved, formed in Haugesund in 1991, have expanded the black metal foundation with Viking tones, progressive twists, and long build-ups, where harsh riffs meet more contemplative passages. Live, the strength lies in the range between sharp outbursts and more expansive, almost psychedelic textures, which the band has refined across a long string of releases up to recent years. Sólstafir, who emerged from Reykjavik's metal scene in the 1990s, occupy the crossroads between post-metal, atmospheric rock, and post-rock. Their songs draw on Icelandic moods and landscapes, and on stage they unfold as long, patiently built passages with contrasts between intimate moments and heavy, full-bodied sections. As a special guest, Gaahls Wyrd will help set a darker frame for the evening.
