On March 8, 2027, Lizzy McAlpine returns to Paris, performing Angel at the Olympia, her fourth album, live. After Older, which took her on the road with a full tour, the American songwriter opens a new chapter, broader in the arrangements but still guided by that intimate, almost whispered voice that is her signature. With Angel, recorded and produced with her collaborators Mason Stoops and Taylor Mackall, she forges a bridge between the 1970s folk and today’s indie. The songs, written in a moment of introspection, speak of love, heartbreak, and how the bonds around us hold up when everything falters. From her online beginnings to the impact of 'five seconds flat' and the track 'ceilings', Lizzy McAlpine has established a precise, intimate writing, crafted from delicate melodies and silences that count. At the Olympia, it is this tension between fragility and relief that audiences come to experience, in a live setting.
