Info
Uña y Carne arrives in Barcelona on October 14, 2027 to perform live their blend of rumba rock with a streetwise urban pulse. The project began in 2021 when filmmaker, composer and producer Carlos Salado brought the world of his film Criando Ratas to music, and joined forces with singer Antonio Clavería to turn those rumbas into songs with a life of their own.
On stage, the duo blends rumba-inflected guitars, flamenco twists and rhythms that tilt toward the urban and rap, with narrative lyrics tied to the day-to-day life of the neighborhoods: precarity, addictions, youths with no way out, twisted decisions. Their storytelling is direct, almost documentary-style, and they often rely on visuals and spoken interludes that connect each track to what they’re telling.
It will be a good opportunity to revisit tracks from Lo que el tiempo no sabe borrar and Consume Rumba Sin Moderación, with that fresh sound that alternates catchy sing-along choruses and unvarnished scenes.
