Femquency Flinta* DJ-Workshop + Showcase

On 17 October 2026, we fly to Klunkerkranich for the last time this year, with our Flinta* DJ workshop and a showcase in tow.

In the workshop you will have the opportunity to dive into the world of players, mixers and transitions together with Ligal Tamir and our resident Lea Chuga, in a safe, protected space to learn with and from each other.

You will be gradually introduced to the basic functions of the equipment.

Our core philosophy is: there are no stupid questions. Making mistakes is encouraged. It is important to us that you dispel any uncertainties and feel free to ask any questions. Together we create exactly the atmosphere we need for it.

The core idea of Femquency: to empower and solidarize within the electronic music scene. To provide a space where Flinta* people can exchange with and feel comfortable among themselves.

The DJ workshop at Klunkerkranich runs from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. After a 30-minute break, during the opening of the 'Hinter den Alpen' floor from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM you can immediately try out your newly acquired knowledge with guided mixing in front of an audience. You will receive professional support if you wish.

Workshop info: Our workshop is by and for Flinta* people and offers a safer space where there is room for your questions about DJing. Please note that the workshop is aimed at beginners. The acronym Flinta* stands for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people. Please participate in this workshop only if you feel addressed by it.

What does the workshop include?
- Pre-event briefing by email
- 3.5-hour DJ workshop (tech crash course, instruction on transitions, and accompaniment by Flinta*-DJs while playing)
- Drinks and snacks
- Private floor and bar in the club for workshop participants
- Afterwards, DJing from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM with professional accompaniment in front of an audience at the subsequent Femquency Showcase

We look forward to you.
