To celebrate the return of bass, Dougie Jones and Hyperlison are pleased to invite two longtime activists from the Paris dubstep scene: Sîn and Argo.
They are both members of the Bass Paradize collective, a group that helped nurture the bass music scene in Paris, inviting UK-based artists while keeping the local scene alive. With releases on labels such as Encrypted Audio, Chestplate, and Egregore Collective, Argo's razor-sharp beats need no introduction; Sîn is the co-founder of Verse Asso, a collective promoting grime, still too underrepresented in our venues.
Join us at Surpat, in the basement of Maison Bistrot on October 2 for a session bridging bass music, dubstep and breaks.
