On April 20, 2027, Marc Broussard brings his Southern soul to the Trabendo in Paris, a sound that sticks to the skin. Born in Louisiana and nourished by the local scene, he has since the early 2000s forged a distinctive blend of soul, R&B, funk and rock, often labeled "bayou soul." On stage, you see what makes him strong: a raspy yet warm voice, grooves that lean toward rhythm and blues, and a songwriting sensibility sharpened since Momentary Setback and Carencro, his early landmark albums. His repertoire also moves between original compositions and nods to the classics, as his S.O.S. projects dedicated to covers showed, up to S.O.S. 4: Blues for Your Soul.
