Dublon comes to Cinetol in Amsterdam on October 24, 2026 with his jazz-house project that has been surfacing across the last few years between club, downtempo and contemporary jazz. From Norway, he builds tracks that roll gently along on house grooves, while at the same time they are packed with piano, rounded basslines, brass and light vocals. That creates an atmosphere that suits a dim wine bar as well as a late-night dance floor.
With Nectar, his debut EP, dublon reveals his most refined side: clear top lines, melodies with a pop sensibility, and a jazz signature that doesn't need to show off. On the record he collaborates with musicians such as Nathan Haines and Tour-Maubourg, and that mix of organic instruments and electronic pulse he will also bring live this autumn. Having primarily performed DJ sets, the Amsterdam show will center on a live-band format, with room for improvisation and groove, without losing the club focus.
