On April 1, 2027, HENGE lands at Invisible Wind Factory in Liverpool with its extra-terrestrial live show, built like a sci-fi trip but grounded in tight, physical playing. Formed in Manchester, the quartet mixes psychedelic and space rock with electro and avant-pop, a blend they call “cosmic dross”: synth lines that coil and flash, a bass pushed right up front, motorik drums, and guitars with sharp, acidic edges.
On stage, the band performs through its characters Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom, turning the set into something between songs, repetitive trance and experimental drift, always moving and never settling for one format. Their releases trace that evolving universe from Cosmic Dross and Attention Earth! to ExoKosm, Alpha Test 4 and Journey to Voltus B, and this Liverpool date is a chance to catch that repertoire in its natural habitat: loud, strange, rhythm-driven, and very much alive.
