On 25 November 2026, Wasia Project brings its shimmering chamber pop to the Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin. Behind the name stands the sibling duo Olivia Hardy (vocals, guitar) and William Gao (piano, vocals), who fuse classical training with indie pop, jazz-pop, and refined electronic textures, unafraid to mix genres. The focus is on songs that function like small film scenes: lots of piano, a supple voice, richly detailed arrangements, and that understated tension between intimacy and movement.
Live, the duo expands into a larger band, with drums, bass, and brass, giving the songs more body and pushing the grooves forward. Central to it is also the material around 'Nocturne': night music that moves between a twilight intro, dancefloor friction, and a modern soul tint, carried by coming-of-age moments and the echoes of those isolated years.
