The Soweto Gospel Choir arrives at the Casino de Paris on December 19, 2026, with POU ZOT!, a choral show that draws on South Africa's history and the collective power of gospel. On stage, more than thirty voices, tight harmonies, rising crescendos, and that sense of rhythm that shifts a concert from reflection to shared momentum.
As the set unfolds, the choir weaves a tribute to Nelson Mandela's heritage by revisiting South Africa's freedom songs, passing through spirituals, and opening the repertoire to classics associated with Miriam Makeba or Hugh Masekela, but also to standards popularized by Sam Cooke or Leonard Cohen.
