FERDI (Jazz / Indie-pop / Funk - France / Belgium)
Franco-Brussels saxophonist and producer Ferdi traces a natural bridge between contemporary jazz, indie-pop and soul/funk grooves. His solo project, launched with TAKE 01, showcases a highly melodic sound, streamlined structures and a real space for improvisation, without losing the sense of the chorus. On stage, pop writing rubs shoulders with the collective dynamics of jazz, with that blend of airy atmospheres and rhythmic momentum that he’s also known for in his collaborations, notably with Dabeull.
On October 13, 2026 at Théâtre de la Manufacture in Nancy, he will present this new-generation instrumental jazz, conceived as music for live performance as much as for listening.
FORWARD (Electro-organic jazz - France)
With Forward, jazz is rewritten in the present: a trio that plays on contrasts between precise writing, electronic textures and pulsations that shift just enough. Their electro-organic approach keeps the grain of live playing while sculpting modern soundscapes, between rhythmic tension and more contemplative flights.
On October 13, 2026 at Théâtre de la Manufacture in Nancy, Forward offers a set where the trio’s energy and the production respond to one another, for a concert that moves the lines without overdoing it.
