Info
On December 5, 2026, Eihwar lands at Moloco in Audincourt with its 'Pagan Folk Nights' and its own distinctive take on pagan trance. Launched in 2023 by Asrunn and Mark, the duo draws from neofolk, so-called pagan musics, and tribal electronic music crafted for live performance. Their formula, which they summarize as a 'Viking War Trance,' rests on chanted vocals, ritual percussion, dark textures and a pulsation that urges both to raise a fist and to move. No fixed historical reconstruction here: rather an unabashed Nordic fantasy, between concert and performance, with imagery that sits in lockstep with the music. On stage, martial energy, choruses to be sung in unison, and the tension of the machines interplay, with Hugrheim's narrative—the fictional universe that extends their tracks—serving as a throughline.
Mira Ceti completes the lineup for this evening in Audincourt on December 5, 2026. A presence conceived as a vocal and stage counterpoint to Eihwar's intensity, to open the night and establish an atmosphere before the percussion and trance take center stage.
