Info
On April 6, 2027, Bari hosts Gianna Nannini for Giannagold at Palaflorio, a show built around the voice and nerve that have made her one of Italy’s most singular songwriters. Since the late 1970s, she’s carved out a tense pop-rock sound: rough edges, tight rhythms, big melodic hooks, and those sudden turns into ballads that never feel tame. Her live presence is the point here—direct, physical, driven by that unmistakable rasp and a way of pushing a song forward without polishing it.
Giannagold draws on decades of records, from her breakthrough era (California, then the run of G.N., Latin Lover, Puzzle, Profumo) to later chapters like Grazie, Io e te, Inno, Amore gigante, La differenza and Sei nell’anima. Expect a set that moves between punchy, new-wave-tinted energy and more open, chanson-leaning moments, always held together by her writing and the band’s pressure on the beat.
