Genetikk will perform on December 16, 2027 with 'Live 2027' at the Weststadthalle in Essen, bringing their own dense universe to the stage. Behind the masks are rapper Karuzo and producer Sikk, a duo that since the late 2000s has shaped the German-language scene with dark imagery, pop culture references, and technically precise lyrics. Live, Genetikk fuse a classic 90s rap vibe with a cinematic atmosphere: boom-bap tempos, heavy drums, soul and funk samples, and this slightly eerie dramaturgy that feels like a soundtrack. Those familiar with the milestones of Foetus, Voodoozirkus, and D.N.A. up to Achter Tag, Fukk Genetikk and Y.A.L.A. will not get a greatest-hits set to tick off, but an evening in which production and rap truly pull together—raw, detail-oriented and straight ahead.
